Model Railroad Construction Progress: March 2009

Well, I’m starting to add some foam to the front edge of the layout. I’m florist’s foam instead of pink extruded foam. I’ll be remving quite a bit of this foam since I just wanted to put a gentle slope at the edge of the layout

In this next series of pictures I’m starting to put in the Grade crossing and making the road leading up to it. I’m using Durham's water putty colored with black acrylic paint. I using strips of basswood to make the forms
