Model Railroad Construction Progress: September 2009

I decided to take some time off from the Interchange scene and work on the River scene. I need to think some more about
what I want to do detail wise on the Interchange scene plus I was starting to get a little burnt out. Here's what I've done so far. I've
started putting in the river banks using florist foam.

Once I got all the foam blocks glued in place I did did some rough shaping of
the foam to make the channel. I'll be gluing
smaller blocks of foam in place to fill in gaps as needed.
